So, if you hadn't noticed, it's raining. Heck, it's more than raining, it's freaking pouring!! Trees are falling down, roads are closed, the wind is howling, basically it's a mess.

This picture was taken from our last storm and that was a breeze compared to the one we have now. I didn't go to the farm for fear of losing a boot in the mud or having to make camp there because my car got stuck.

All joking aside, all this rain is proving to have consequences for our farm. Here's a crop report from Jim, "The recent rain have had a long term affect of the cropping plan. Thus limiting the variety of items in our harvest shares. As soon as we can get into the field to prepare planting beds we are ready to plant seeds and transplant seedlings from the greenhouse.".

Jim tells me it will take 2 weeks of straight sunshine to give the ground enough time to dry and be ready for transplants.
