Mache greens are a cold weather salad green akin to Tatsoi and are named thus as they are planted after the corn harvest.

Before this land can be worked it needs some water! It's dry as a bone.


What you see here is the removing of sprinklers. It's quite an undertaking on its own but many hands make light work.
