Crosby got high marks today - he caught a rat! Good job, boy!!

It took a while to get the perfect shot because he was avoiding the camera but all that changed when we reached the strawberry fields and then we was all smiles and yawns.

Italian Sweet Peppers. Spicy? Nay, sweet and delicious to eat!!

Hollar hollar penos. Jalapenos! They are small but they pack a punch. Candied jalapenos probably one of my favorites. Ever tried em? Imagine this lentil tacos with carrot ginger puree AND candied Jalapenos - sweet and spicy!!! yum, yum, yum.

If you look closely you can see two melons, one is dark green while the other is lighter with a raised crisscross structure called netting.

What's happening is that as the fruit matures the skin surface netting gets coarse and rough, the background color of the fruit turns from green to yellow and the tendrils near the fruit on the stem dry and turn brown.

So, what does all this mean? It's melon eating time! :)
