Here we have Red and Savoy Cabbage!!

These are 3 different tomato plants!

We are going to have gobs of tomatoes, I can't wait!!

Tomatoes in salads, tomatoes in eggs, tomatoes in salsa. Yum, yum, yum.

Do you know what this is? It's Mustard Greens! 

I'll admit not the tastiest (let's be real, it's bitter) but it's super healthy. 

It detoxify's the liver (that means more summer cocktails for me) and it's high in antioxidants and so much more.

We have an upcoming event!! It's Strawberry U-Pick Sunday Funday. It's May 21st from 1-4. 

Basically, you come and pick all the strawberries you want and pay $2 dollars a pound!!!

The tomato plants are looking so healthy. 

We can't wait to share them with you soon!

Did you know that you can eat the whole pea plant? Here the plant is in it's infancy but the shoots, which are the tender tips of the vines, including the leaves, stems, flower blossoms, and tendrils, make the most fantastic and unexpected salad greens. They taste like peas, but with a wonderful grassy, green flavor that is all their own.

But when they are fully grown they are crisp, delicious Sugar Snap Peas. :)

The time has come the farmer said to trellis many things from tomato plants to sugar snap peas and discuss whether plants have dreams. (Thank you Alice in Wonderland for inspiration for that ditty).


What? Sugar snap peas require trellising?

From front to back we have Famosa, Red Cabbage, Bel Star, New Red Fire, Tropicana, Magenta, Braveheart, Indigo, and Green Star

And in case you're not fluent in farm speak it's cabbage, cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, lettuce, lettuce, lettuce and lettuce.

Yum yum. Sounds like the makings of a very lovely salad :)

Carrots! Well, at the moment carrot tops. :)

This pepper is a big, blocky, thick-walled red bell pepper with a fruity and sweet flavor.


Did you know a green pepper is simply an unripe version of a red pepper?
